| Anyone else shoot the IBO 2nd leg National Championship this past weekend?
I shot the MBO class and scored 308/400, which earned me 142nd in this class.
I am very happy with this score, as this was my first major 3D tournament. If I had not made a bonehead move on my part at the practice bags, I would have done alot better.
Looking forward to the 3rd and final leg in Nelsonville, OH next month, I'm hoping to get a coveted top 20 finish in order to get an invite to the World Championships in Ellicotville, NY in August Congrats to everyone who shot this weekend and good luck towards your endeavor of getting into Worlds | |

| | 308/400 is a respectable score for the ibo and your first major shoot.i use to shoot all 3 legs and the world when it was held at snoeshoe moutain,w.v.took a break from shooting for awhile.alway go to nelsonville on sat to check out all the new equipment.if your going to shoot nelsonville.practice shooting across ravines.this is common at that shoot.if your range is in the field by the holidome.be prepared for alot of open field shots.30-50yds. are common.not many places to stay in town.athens and logan are short drives from there and offer many places to stay and eat.almost forgot this.WEATHER;CAN BE VERY HUMID,HOT,AND SHOWERS ARE KNOWN TO HAPPEN.BRING GOOD FOOTWEAR.goodluck shooting. | |

| | hey whitetail101,how did you do at nelsonville,3rd leg of the ibo.i know the weather turned nasty sat. afternoon and rained sunday.hope you got your shooting done before that.wasn't able to make this due to trying to get hay done.if you by chance didn't make the top 20,check thier web site.you maybe able to find a local qauilifier to make it to the world shoot. | |

| I did fairly well at Nelsonville, despite my bow hand being paralyzed from a pinched nerve in my arm somewhere(seeing the doc this week to find out where).
I shot a 318 with 2 X's on a very tough course. Hopefully this will be good enough for a top 20 and an invite to worlds
As for any local qualifiers, they are all done here in PA, so if I didn't get'er done in Nelsonville, I be trying again next year. | |

| | that's the spirit.really good score for the problem your having.hope you can git it fixed before deer season.i don't know if they still do it or not?they use to have just a trophy shoot at the worlds for those whom didn't qualify or just wanted to shoot at a world shoot.something to check out. | |

| Big Red - yes they still have the trophy shoot, but I will have commitments with Mossy Oak that weekend that were hinging on wether or not I got into worlds, so I won't be able to go.
On a brighter note, they released the 2008 National Rankings this morning and despite only shooting the last 2 legs of the National Championship I still manged to get ranked 138th out of 300 in the MBO class
Thye bar has been set for next year , and I should be able to improve on that in 2009 | |

| | that's great for only shooting 2 legs.now the bar is set and the fever has hit,all you can do is get bet better.just going to one of the shoots is an experiance in itself..lets you know how good some of the competion is.i'm going to try to get back into it next year.not sure if i want to start back at the hunter class or just jump back into the mbo were i left off 4 years ago.good hunting with the mossy oak crew and may see ya' on the tube shooting something big. | |

| IBO updated the National rankings later in the week and I moved up to 128th out of 300 in National ranking
I don't know what happened but I'll take it. | |
