im going hog hunting for the first time in march does any one have some tips

Where are you going and what are you hunting with. If you are bowhunting, are you doing spot and stalk or sitting in a stand. If you stalkig them on the ground you should be careful because once in while in stead of running when they see you they'll just come after you.

Other thing you should know is that a hogs kill zone is about half the size of a deer and it is lower and farther forward than a deer. They are a lot tougher than you would think after they get some size on them so if you shoot one and have to track it even with a really well placed shot you should wait a minimum of an hour and if you gut shoot it wait 4-5 hours.

Make sure when you shoot one you have an good exit plan. Like golfnut548 said they will come a running. Have fun and be safe.

Use bait attractant, if legal, and wait throughout the night until they show up. Have fun and make sure to be patient!!
