Just purchase an ar-15 it is optic ready 16" A3, I would like some advice on scoping it or putting tactical optics on it, I never coudl use the peep sight due to my near sightedness so I am wanting a compact scope to put on it, not wanting to spend over $200  I will be shooting close range out to 150 I have no desire for a tack driver at 150 but would like to shoot decent groups.

I have a Leapers scope on my AR. they are cheap and work great!!! get one with the illuminated mil dot. real nice scope and very cheap on the wallet.

Well a week with No replys I did it on my own went with a nikon pro-staff 3/9/40 with bullet drop compensators very nice scope I spent below 200 rings and all.
