do you think an '87 toyota pickup could pull a 2500 lb. boat? the weight includes the trailer.
its just short distance (except to get it home)

I agree those are really good little trucks but I would try to take all the side roads that you can. How far do you have to haul it back home?

That would probably be safer... If you haven't towed it yet to see how it trails I would want a bigger truck. Sometimes pulling a pontoon boat is easier than pulling a little 8' trailer depending on how well/straight the trailer will tow.

I've towed many boats and trailer over the years and think this is dangerous. The Toyota will tow it but is much lighter than the boat, stopping and going around turns it will be unstable. Borrow uncle's Ram. IMHO Mike
