bought 12 persimmon trees on ebay i didnt pay atention to the auction where you have to tell them to send when its time to plant so i got 12 of them in my base ment in dirt waitng for spring to plant anyone have any growing tips or suggestions that will help me out

It is best to plant them know while they a darment they will go through less stress.

Plant them now, or as soon as the ground is thawed enough to dig a hole.

You better put a good protective fence around them till they are several feet tall or the deer will eat them down to a stub. You mite grow them in five gallon buckets for a year or two before planting in the wild, they need to be very well established.
