I like a smaller bow but its up to you, do you shoot either and see what you like better?

are the brace heights the same? From what I have always read that as a general rule the bow with the longer brace height will be more accurate and consistent than a similar bow with a short brace height. I shoot a compact bow (Bowtech Tomkat) and it has an 8 3/4" brace height which is really tall for a compact bow and I really like the way it shoots. But I haven't shot that many different ones so I can't say that it is of any help for sure.

If they both seem to shoot the same then they should be fairly equal on which one to pick... I like the smaller bows if I don't have to sacrifice anything because that 2" doesn't seem like much. But when you got one in a tough angle the longer bow is more prone to bumping your shooting rail on your stand or tree limbs etc... Is either one of them faster than the other?

same speed the only difference is 1.5 inches axle to axle length and about .4 oz.

I see what you mean, I went to the martin archery website and checked the specs... They even almost look identical! Same grips, cam, cable gaurd etc... I would go with the Cheetah just because it's smaller and lighter and you aren't losing anything (speed) brace height, options etc.) Since they use the same cams and everything it's not like you are going to have a hard time finding parts for the Cheetah. What draw length do you shoot? Since the Cheetah is a tad bit smaller it will only go up to a 29" draw while the Bengal goes to 30".

Plus the 30 bucks extra in your pocket would get you a few good broadheads...

if you are hunting with it the smaller the bow the easier to handle both in the tree and on the ground with the shorter bow you may be able to take shots out of the stand that you cant  with the larger one
