I have a traditions lightning b/a 45 cal and have been shooting 100 gr of powder pellets and 195gr power belt bullet, I emailed traditions and they said I could use 150 gr powder pellets should I stay with the 195 gr bullet and I got a scope for it for christmas and was wondering if I should sight it in a1 in high at 100 yrds. What type of loads do yall use and how do yall sight em

I shoot a traditions pursuit pro.mine is dead on at 100 yds.I use powerbelts 240gr.with 150 gr. triple 777 pellets.I don't have any big fields here.mostly woods.

The load you're shooting sounds ok. I like a heavier bullet.

I use a PB 245gr. Aero tip bullet with 100gr. of powder. I sight mine in at 50 yards and a bit high.But from what I have seen and been told that is to much powder. 80-90grs. of powder is plenty. With more powder they defrag to much.

I just switched to Hornady XTP bullets (240 grn) with 100 grns pyrodex pellets and I am around 2 1/2 to 3 inches high at 50 yds .I shot twice and the holes touched.

my muzzle loader season was oct 24, 3 day season seen 5 hogs and 2 hunters which hunted 200 yrds in front of my stand and he shot and lost one of the hogs. I stuck with 100 grs of powder and a 195 gr bullet sighted dead on at 100 yrds. good luck to everyone who hasnt had there muzzleloader season
