| A few years ago I would have this forum up at work all day. The action back then was great, always a discussion or argument going on. I swear I would spend more time at work reading/answering posts than actually working. I stopped coming around when they made the first changes to the site and had to make a new account when they made this latest change. I was looking forward to getting back on here, but this place is dead now. Very few new topics being brought up, it just seems like I see the same topics day after day after day. What is going? Are there just not as many members after the latest changes? Or was there a huge personality blow up that caused a bunch of people to leave? I was just wondering. | | | |

| | I too have noticed a lull here. However lately I have seen a few more join and start posting that are familiar from the old site. A few also are on other sites, either actively moderating or doing administrative moderating, or some are just busy with work from what I have heard. I suspect there are many lurkers who read but do not post. I like to be a lurker from time to time myself. | |

| Personally I don't have much to add to the group, except for a few questions here or there. It's been for the last couple years a pendullum effect or highs and lows in posting activity as it relates to the season at hand. Two years ago there was alot of posting, but from a group of about 20, accounting for probably 50%+ of the total post count. I used to read this forum alot when I had a network connection, but now my connection is just at work and I check it mostly after work or during lunch. Good to have ya back, and would wish DogDoc returns. I wanted to ask him some food plot questions... Also wish Brian the photographer would come back and show more fantastic pictures. | | | |

| | I think the answer lies within the season at hand and who is willing to post an answer or question, some may think that their question is dumb and not post for fear of looking dumb, the truth is that the only dumb question is the one that doesn't get asked | | Hillbilly Willy Today is the day the Lord hath made, I will rejoice and be glad in it | |

| | Discussion always slows down in the off-season from deer hunting. Things will pick up in the fall. I lurk many times and simply don't have anything to add or ask but enjoy the site. | | | |

| I too recall the "Good old Days" A guy could hardly keep up. The daytime crew was a blast to hang around with. It spilled over into the night as well. All those great posters and all that fun was squashed about a year or year and a half ago. The site took a real turn for the worse shortly after that and then a change in the overseers made it a real ghost town. I log on occasionally but It's sad to think about what once was.
The old chucking crew didn't bother to make the move over to the new site as they felt they were not welcome. Even instructions and rules for the rapid fire area were created to discourage the old group from forming.
" This forum is designed for "Rapid-Fire" communication and is exempt from the rules about one word or short replies. We expect cordial dialog. Everyone should feel welcome. We discourage any elite clubs, cliques, common team type of names or mentalities."
Well they got their wish and now you have what you currently see. Gotta go, the dust and tumbleweeds here are bothering my allergies. Chuck on.

| | Good thing my allergies are in check. I just endure and will wait for the dust to settle. New site means construction and with that always is a little dust. Right now I think we have an awesome group on the site. Previously I think we had an awesome group on the site. Lulls happen, but I see even those, who are not so happy are contributing to the site. This is very commendable and outstanding. As always I try to see the good in all situations and in everyone. ; ) | |

Wait you mean the "Chuckin' Corner" no longer exist.
Of course it still exists. Just not here. It's like Camalot. The old BT was the birth place of the Chucking corner. When it was banned here, It and the group took up residence on another forum. The family is strong.
