well heres what i got i'm going to buy a t/c pro hunter just can't figure out how i want to go buy the muzzleloader or buy the frame and a 338 federal barrel i have a new kp1 knight i guess my question is wold a t/c muzzleloader be any better than the knight enuff to have 2 muzzleloaders or just go ahead and get the rifle barrel when i buy it i'm getting a trigger job and a new pin for it this is where t/c has had problems with this gun heavy trigger and sloppy pin any thoughts?

First a question,what are you hunting whitetail or something larger ?Other than that I think it would be a personal choice of having more than one muzzle loader.Me,I just like guns !

I'm also considering the TC Pro Hunter as well.  Personally I aiready have Three Muzzel Loaders, But what's another gun (just gota havem). I also have several rifles of diff cals. My question to you is where did you find out the TC had bolt probs. Magazine reviews? Thanks

just under different form when i put in t/c pro hunter under google it can up on 3-4 different forms

it's not a bolt problem,there has always been some folks that claim the hinge pin is to small,Mike Bellem and others.Now I've talked to Mike,he's a gunsmith and he knows his stuff and some of the others are smiths as well,but they all do custom work on Contenders and Encores,so I'm prone to take what they say with a good dose of salt,remeber these guys make a living altering TC's.Now if ya talk to any of these guys and your asking about wildcatting a caliber,it's pretty much gospell

Yes but did the hinge seem to be sloppy new or after rounds fired, or are we talking in the .0001?

no when switch from different barrels... 39.00 for a new pin or different kind of pin and problem gone this is all over the enternet from what i have read on different sites the hinge pin can make it shoot 1 foot or so off at 100 yards it doesn't take much for a slop in the barrel to make it be off at 100 yards thAt much
