I'm a finger shooter with my Recurve, and I have Bear hair on the shelf, I use a Tru Ball release with my compound!

I shoot fingers as well (On an old PSE Pacer) and I love my arrow rest but do not know the official name of it. Ill check it out tonight when I get home and try to post, but it is essentially the normal part that attaches to the bow frame itself, but the rest itself is a small metal pin, turned upwards slightly, with plastic tubing over it. It will flex both ways so I never have to worry about it breaking (towards and away from me) and I rarely have an arrow come up off of it. Sorry for the lame description, but Ill try to find the name of it for you asap. (Ive had it on there for about 9 years now, with no issues)
