-- The drawing results for Arizona’s fall deer, turkey, javelina, bighorn sheep, buffalo and pheasant hunts are now available online at https://phx.az.gov/app/huntdraw/home.xhtml.
There were more than 133,000 applicants for this year’s fall draw.
Hunt permit-tags for successful applicants are anticipated to be mailed out by Aug. 10. Refunds for unsuccessful or rejected applicants/applications less application fees are to be mailed out by Aug. 20.
There are about 5,389 leftover hunt-permit tags remaining. For a list of leftover tags, go to http://www.azgfd.gov/eservices/documents/leftovers-fall.pdf.
Leftover tags will be available for purchase on a first-come, first-served basis. There are two methods to obtain a leftover tag.
Applications are now being accepted by mail only. Starting on Aug. 6 at 8 a.m. hunters can purchase a leftover tag in person with an application at any of the seven Arizona Game and Fish Department offices.
