From Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks
-- More than 300 sets of antlers and horns, wildlife hides, capes and mounts will be auctioned Aug. 26 in Billings with proceeds going to the state Fish, Wildlife & Parks account.
The auction begins at 6 p.m. Aug. 26 at Tryans Auction Center in Billings. Buyers may view the items beginning at 9 a.m. the day of the auction.
Items include mule deer, white-tailed deer and elk antlers, antelope and bighorn sheep horns, mounted wildlife heads, assorted hides and a few specialty items.
All items were collected in Eastern Montana through confiscations in criminal cases, road kills, management actions or parts found in the wild. All items will be sold to the highest bidders.
