From the Delaware Division of Fish and Wildlife
-- This year the Delaware Division of Fish and Wildlife, which observes its 100th anniversary, marks the occasion with a special full-color 100th anniversary edition of the Delaware Hunting and Trapping Guide.
The guide is now available online at www.dnrec.delaware.gov/fw/Hunting. Distribution of the print edition to license dealers and stores is expected to begin the week of July 18.
Inside the magazine-style cover, hunters and trappers will find all the usual information hunter education, licensing, hunting and trapping seasons, limits, regulations, wildlife area information and more, with sections devoted to deer, small game, turkey and migratory birds all presented with fresh new graphics and easy to read type.
Interspersed throughout are historic hunting-related photos and a timeline of milestones from the Divisions first 100 years.
The publication has a much different look than guides in the past, said Greg Moore, wildlife section administrator Our hunters and trappers have been the backbone of support over the last century. This guide is for them and we hope they like the new design.
Advertising paid for the entire cost of production.
