Nicci Kingdon’s very first animal taken during a hunt is a Russian boar. The 12-year-old made a perfectly placed shot at 60 yards with her dad Robert’s .3030 bolt action rifle. The 200-pound hog took two steps and went down.
Nicci was taught how to hunt by family and friends, and made everyone proud when she took the hog by herself. Her proud dad was 100 yards away from Nicci when she made the shot. He was more excited for his daughter than he ever had been for himself through his hunting years.
The entire camp was grinning ear to ear for Nicci. Now she wants to harvest an elk with her bow.
