Hello, I was wondering if anyone had tips on what kind of calls would work for bear hunting? I live in Eastern Kentucky and bear season is only open for 2 days on Dec 10-11 and baiting is not allowed. The only thing I would know to do to get one to come in is to use some sort of call. So does anyone got any tips? Thanks.

only calling i would use would be the ones used for yotes, like a rabbit in distress

find the food source, they should be fattening up for the winter, are burns ok to use? not sure of the baiting regs there but get some honey in a small tray, put a candle underneath, light it up and let it burn. Biggest concern is making sure you dont start any fires, that is once you figure out if its legal
