My gun and choke combo work very will with the Winchster 3" HV #6 shot. I've seen where it would be very effective out to the standard 40 yards. Who all uses #6 shot and how well does it really work for you?

This was my first year using#6s,I folded my gobbler up at about 40 yrds. I like 'em so far . They have a good pattern out of my 835.

i use 4x6's which are pretty much a mix of 4's and 6's in one.. they worked great i got 2 turkeys with them this past spring

I use 5's, Knocked a coyote and Tom out within an hour last season. I guess its all personal preverance. They all work with the right choke
