I live for a great day on the red river of the north catching big channel cats. they are awesome!  I moved to kansas so now I am trying to turn my self into a blue and flats fishermen.  Thats a little different.  All fishing is alot of fun for the whole family.

Hmmmm, other game? I suppose so. Its as much a challenge to catch as it is to hunt, so I'd go with it being other game. :)

It's crappie season here and it's really picking up. Catfish, well I love catching them, and they do count as other game, but I usually wind up catching them by accident! I used to go fish all night for big cats on the Santee-Cooper in the lower part of my state. But the drive is just too far nowadays and cats find their way onto my hooks every now and then while crappie and striper fishing. That's plenty of action for me!
