In my game zone, you are allowed to take a total of 10 deer of which 5 can be antlered. No tags and no size restriction. Which sounds ridiculous to most people, but we have a lot of deer. We need some sort of buck tag program though, too many spikes and forkhorns get killed for meat when there are plenty of does. It's in the works according to our state's DNR. The farm I took this guy on is in a different game zone from the one I live in. Their season opened 2 weeks before ours and has different regulations ( no restrictions whatsoever). This guy is a good deer for that area, but back home I probably would have let him walk.
