A gut in our archery club asked me to make a set of knives for him and his son. He gave me two shed antlers and asked that I make his for a left handed user and his son's for a right hander. I saved the brow tines for dispay bases.

The blades are O1 high carbon steel heat treated to Rockwell RC60
The file work is done with two small files. Then I use gun bluing in the recessed areas.

I still need to make the sheaths. |

I guess I should proof read first. I should have typed a "Guy" in our archery club. Not "gut" |

Way to go 2chucks, another fine pair of knives, I'm still holding on to the one you made for me , just admiring the fine craftsmanship for a little longer before I hand it over to its rightful owner. |
