On Saturday, 8/20/2011, I killed a 165 lb full velvet 8 point, in front of the hounds, using a Remington 1100 .12 gauge and Winchester superX 00 buckshot. On Saturday, 8/27/2011, I killed a 130 lb full velvet cowhorn out of a tree stand using a T/C Encore in .308, loaded with a Winchester 150 grain power point. I'd love to post pictures, if I knew how!
