went out friday afternoon and headed to invernesses fl to flying eagle management area, my grandpa got a quota for opening gun ( shotgun, muzzleloader only) and he took me as his guest, we scouted some spots and i took one up in a oak tree outside off a big flag pound were they had done a controlled burn, saturday forning the spot stuck like hogs, got up in the tree and herd them gruntn, bout 7:30 they came out I shoot the lead one, then the muzleloader smoke took over and all I saw was hogs right under me, didnt have time for a second shot, go down didnt see any blood, but had a big 8pnt coming to me, so I went back to the tree he vered off, got down about hr later and looked for we a hog that had split form the pack went and she was layn there in the burnt palmettoes, not 50 yrds from me, she weighted 75 lbs, and I shot her with a traditions lightning 45 cal mag, using powerbelt 195 gr hollow point and 100 grs of pyrodex pellets. as soon as i remeber how to post a pic I will
