It is so good to see all the young hunter getting out there with there dads and moms.

Jordan (8) and I have had a great opening week to gun season. he has gotten a 4pt. buck and a doe and I have gotten a mature doe.
we tried to video the buck hunt but dad forgot to remind him to take off the safety and we got a click instead of a bang when I got him back on the buck with the safety off he didn't wait for dad to get the camera and bang down goes the buck. here are some vids and some pics.

Great Pics ! Got a few of mine napping in the blind too !! Looks like it was pretty cold in your blind. I took my BuddyHeater with us. Made it very comfortable, but he called it cheating! Cheating never felt so warm and toasty....

Congrats to the young ones! It looks like one hunter has carefully mastered the art of sleeping in the blind :)

Congrats to both of you!! Sure like the blind setup you got there with the lazyboy! :)

Didn't score on a buck this year but did get a nice big doe.

Will try muzzleloader season to score on a nice 8 pointer that we have on camera!

it's only cold when we open the windows. I also have a lil buddy heater and it will run you out of the stand on high. I wish I could get more of the stuff i built the stand with because it is awesome. injected cardboard with foam and then covered in fiberglass. I have had it for five years now and not a squirrell hole one. fiberglass will never rot. and has a insulate factor of 30. the company that use to make it made it for boat hulls. but the company  wasn't successful.
