May 30 2010 Lake County Illinois SE 2-8mph. 74 degrees. Barometer 29.82 Steady, Waning Gibbous 90% of the Moon is Illuminated, 10% Chance of Rain. Bachelor Group of Bucks in Velvet. With rain in the forecast I decided to go to the woods in search of big bucks and I wasn't disappointed. I spotted a doe out in a field and @ least 2 coyotes 150 yards down wind of her. I was hoping to catch them in action but the doe spotted me and bolted for cover. Several hundred yards South there were several bucks in the fields and one of the bucks has real good antler development.
