Has anyone ever hooked up a 12v car battery to a trail cam?  For using it on a feeder were 200 pics a day is common.

I haven't done it, but some if not all cameras do have a jack on the side to hook up an outside power source, generally a 12 volt source. At least my Moultrie D40 has the jack on the side to plug up a 12 volt battery. Moultrie even makes a 12 volt power source that comes with a built in solar panel to keep the battery charged.
