Really high fencing. He's like the big bull on my farm. He is very pretty, but it is the wild ones that get my blood pumping. |

all I have to say is nice buck, the last time I said something about a ( caged, leashed, baited ) deer I was told that I didn't know what I was talking about. maybe some people don't set their standards as high as I do |

That is a nice buck. I wish some folks would actually tour a high fence operation before they make assumptions and criticize them. They are protecting their interests, just as I would given the right resources. |

Nice looking buck. I stumbled on to a deer farm one day about 30 miles south of Massillon Ohio. This may be the same place. I was driving on a gravel road when I saw a bull elk standing on the hill next to the road. I darn near wrecked the truck trying to stop. Then I realized that I was next to a high fence enclosure. Then I spied a herd of around 35 cows. I found the owner's house and spent about 3 hrs visiting with him. He showed me pics of deer and elk that he had raised. He does NOT allow hunting of any kind. He sells pictures to magazines. You didn't think all those mag pics were of the actual deer or elk in the stories did you? He also sells live animals to other farms. The elk are the same way.But once a year the bulls get thier antlers cut off while still in velvet. The antlers are dried and sold at action . Mostly to oriental buyers who seem to think that they have an aphrodisiac effect when ground up and eaten. (Don't try this at home). He has a bookshelf full of magazines that have 1 or more pics of his animals in them. |

I bet he sells 1 or 2 of the buck to hunt clubs like TimberGhost Ranch. Those people have to get their big deer from somewhere. |
