For those of you who get to hunt deer with slug guns.  What type of shotgun and what slugs do you use?  Just curious.

I have a H&R Ultra Slug Hunter and I use Light Fields.

Mosberg 500 18.5" slug barrel Remington 'Slugger'. First deer shot with this gun 99yds. no scope, neck shot dropped were it stood severed the spinal cord.

mossberg 835,rifled bbl,bsa shotgun scvope,brenneke 2 3/4" slugs.

I have a Browning BPS with a Hastings rifled barrel and a older Tasco Aimpoint dot. I shoot the Winchester Supreme 385 gn. Nosler part HP-1900 fps. I sight it in 2" high at 50 yds and is dead on at 160.  I have had great results at long range with this combination I just wish the dot was smaller on the aimpoint. If I was doing it again I would buy a different scope or sight but it works. At 160 yds it travels at 1400 fps and 1600 ft lbs of energy.
