Since PA now allows CCW carry while archery hunting, I have started carrying my Ruger Blackhawk in 357 magnum with me. Been on several hunts where we were tracking wounded animals and found ourselves in the middle of a pack of coyotes.
Also I like to have it with me in the archery bear season, for the "OOPS he ain't dead yet" moment
I have started carrying it with me even during rifle season, for those times where the deer is too close for a rifle shot.
