I hunt private land, however I don't have exclusive rights.  The owner allows a subject to cut wood and this seems to be hurting my hunting.  Is this causing my problem, contributing to it or do I just need to be more patient?  I have seen deer, however not near as many as I did last year.  Thoughts?

If all the other person is doing is cutting firewood and he has been doing so for years, more than likely the deer are not being disturbed by his actions... I have seen deer on logging ramps in commercial logging operations, less than 4 hours after the crews have left for the day...

I would guess either your stand location has been busted or you are doing something different than previous years if you are seeing less deer...

I have a guy who cuts on my land, and the deer are used to it, doesn't bother them at all, the deer will actualy come to where he is cutting and eat the leaves from the tree tops after the trees have been cut,

Thanks guys for your responses. They have not cut wood for several years and they seamed to pick locations where I placed my stands. My stands have been out for a good month or two and they just happened to cut close to them. I went out this morning and sat in my blind. I did see a 6 pt and a large doe, but that was it. Im just really frustrated. Thanks again for responding.

No problem, I know how frustrating it can get... Remember we call it "hunting" for a reason, otherwise, we would just call it "shooting"...
