Buck and antlerless firearms seasons open Nov. 20

Opening weekend harvest totals 94,000+

Preliminary data shows deer hunters in Missouri harvested 94,977 deer during the opening weekend of the November portion of the fall firearms deer season Nov. 11 and 12.
Of the 94,977 deer harvested, 54,027 were antlered bucks, 9,535 were button bucks, and 31,415 were does.

145,054 deer taken in second weekend; harvest up 10%

Minnesota firearms hunters registered 145,054 deer through the second weekend of deer season, and preliminary results show that number is up 10 percent from 2016.

Nebraska now Interstate Wildlife Violator Compact member state

USFWS expands hunting, fishing on 10 wildlife refuges

In an effort to increase access to hunting and fishing on public lands, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service has announced a final rule to open or expand opportunities across 132,000 acres on 10 national wildlife refuges.
