2008 SW Kansas Buck I couldn't be happier. I was told it scored 174 and had 3 to 4 inches of deductions. My first rifle buck, and first wallhanger. TRG42 .338LM

From East Of Wichita I say congrats on a great buck... With the tag rules, I may have to try my luck ith a rifle next year. I filled my buck tag with my bow again this year... it was my best buck to date... I agree the gun does look serious!

TOO much gun for the distance I took him at. I really didn't think I would see anything less than 500yrds there. I am a .243 guy, and had it for when I left this peticular spot, but he stepped out and I wasn't about to try and haul my butt 1 mile back to just get it, so poor choice on rifle, but then again he is down. I expected way more damage, but it really looked like a 308 or 270 kill.
