As the pre election political rhetoric heats up, the predictable ranting of the anti Second Amendment bunch fills the air. They point to recent tragedies at the hands of madmen with guns. But what they fail to mention is what the madmen with guns do after firearms are banned from citizen ownership.

As long as I have the right to bear arms, in a worse case scenario, I can at least protect myself. However, if I am denied my right to bear arms I am defenseless against criminals. That's a bad scenario, but here one that is much worse.
